Talon Cyber Security Modernizes End-User Experience with Innovative Digital Tools

By

Two-thirds of U.S. employees work remotely; at least part-time, according to research from Zippia. Also, with up to 92% of employees working at least one day per week remotely, the average U.S. worker works almost six remote workdays per month.

As organizations continue to adopt that "work-from-anywhere" approach, the necessity for security tools to integrate with daily workflows becomes pivotal. Traditional security measures, if implemented in a way that disrupts or complicates user interactions, leads to frustration and decreased productivity. Hence, the success of cybersecurity strategies hinges on their ability to provide robust protection without compromising the intuitive and efficient user experiences that employees now expect.

Talon Cyber Security is aware of this. Therefore, the enterprise browser technology company announced new digital experience capabilities available in the Talon Enterprise Browser. The capabilities arm IT teams with advanced metrics on device, application and network performance to ensure that issues are proactively resolved, and employees have consistent user experiences that power productivity.

First, some background. Talon transforms the web browser into a safeguarded environment, granting corporate IT and security units with comprehensive insights and precise authority over all web applications and SaaS platforms. Designed to ensure protected access for supervised and unsupervised devices, remote employees and external collaborators, Talon's collection of enterprise browser security tools encompasses the Talon Enterprise Browser, Talon Extension, and Talon Mobile.

Through the implementation of Talon, enterprises achieve quantifiable mitigation of risks and potential cost savings of up to 80% when contrasted with alternatives like distributing company laptops or establishing virtual desktop infrastructure and desktop-as-a-service solutions.

As for the upgrades to the Talon Enterprise Browser, specific features and benefits provided to customers include:

  • Broader visibility into devices, applications and networks: IT teams benefit from unprecedented visibility into device, application and network data. With the Talon Enterprise Browser, organizations measure device performance and resources, application performance and utilization and correlate network issues with the browsing experience.

  • More proactive remediation for IT issues: IT teams can more quickly identify and resolve issues, reducing downtime and potential support costs. A bonus is that the resource usage data enables more optimal hardware utilization, preventing unnecessary upgrades and replacements.

  • Greater agility and productivity: The collected data allows IT and end-user computing teams to create more efficient workflows and smoother user experiences for employees.

With its enhanced functionalities, the Talon Enterprise Browser gathers and presents information regarding detailed end-user experience measurements. These measurements encompass factors like the duration it takes for pages to load, the utilization of CPU and RAM, periods of inactivity, and various other metrics.

Combining data from endpoint operations, network efficiency, usage of SaaS applications and the results of security measures, the Talon Enterprise Browser generates practical and usable insights.

“By baking digital experience features into our Enterprise Browser, we provide customers with the actionable insights necessary to ensure that browsing experiences are consistent, and that any potential problems can be remediated before they become roadblocks that disrupt the business,” said Ohad Bobrov, co-founder and Chief Technology Officer, Talon Cyber Security.
